Georgas, Bertha (15 August 1875 - 25 November 1963)

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville for Miss Bertha Georgas, 88, of Neillsville who died here Monday.

The Rev. Norman Lindloff of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, of which Miss Georgas was a member, will officiate. Burial will be made in Memorial Cemetery in Dorchester.

Miss Georgas was born August 15, 1875, in Dorchester, and was the daughter of the late Fred and Fredericka (Schultz) Georgas. She operated a millinery shop in Colby for many years. She had been in failing health for several years.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. B. C. Swarthout of Spencer; two nieces, Mrs. Dorotha Sersch of Marshfield and Mrs. Norman Wachholz of Spencer; and a nephew, Elmer A. (Edna) Georgas of Neillsville.

The Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville made the funeral arrangements.
