Neillsville Area Locals (5 December 1963)
Mr. and Mrs. Chap Paulson spent the weekend in Chicago, where they attended an outdoor amusement show.
The Rev. and Mrs. W. C. Koehler and two sons were Thanksgiving guests of his parents, who live in Brookfield.
Clyde Oens and son, Tommy, of Racine, spent the Thanksgiving weekend hunting in the East Fork area.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dux, who lived here for many years and moved three and one-half years ago to Stoughton when Mr. Dux was transferred there by Nelson Muffler plant, have returned to their home here on East 2nd Street. Mr. Dux has retired. Their son, Jeff, a sophomore, has entered Neillsville High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dux and son were Thanksgiving guests at the Duane Anding home in Lynn. The men spent part of the day hunting.
Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Swarthout of Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. William Sedlack of Colby visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Georgas.
Dr. and Mrs. John Foster and family of Thorp were Sunday visitors at the Leo Foster home and helped his mother, Dr. Martha Foster, observe her birthday.
Mrs. Bruno Woodzick is a hospital patient in Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. John Cook and family visited at the Robert Wucki home Friday.
Miss Irene Wucki left Sunday for Oshkosh to seek employment.
Robert Wucki, and son, Walter, were among the lucky hunters, each getting a buck Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wucki left for Oshkosh Sunday to live with their son, Bernard, for the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. John Mazola, Jr., and children, and Miss Lois Howard of Milwaukee were Thanksgiving Day guests at the Hugh Howard home. On that day, the third birthday of Wendy, and the sixth birthday of Tammy Mazola were observed. Mr. and Mrs. Mazola and children left for Milwaukee that evening and Lois spent the remainder of the week with her parents.
Miss Barbara Bollom of Milwaukee spent the holiday weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Bollom.
Mrs. Donald Shaw and children were Thursday guests at the Hugh Howard home.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Ringstad were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones of New Richmond.
Thanksgiving Day guests at the John Schiesel home were Mrs. William Scheller of Marshfield and the Donald Schiesel family of Neillsville. Later in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schiesel and daughter were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weber in Marshfield.
