Columbia (19 December 1963)
In a letter to the William Sollberger’s, Waldimar Clodfelter of Cambria writes of accidentally severing the thumb from his left hand in a sawing mishap on November 4.
Doctors sewed the thumb back on and placed the hand in a cast, which was to have been removed December 20. The thumb was healing satisfactorily.
Mr. Clodfelter’s youngest son, Howard Adair Clodfelter, was to have been baptized Sunday, December 22, in the Lutheran Church (a portion missing here).
