Lutz, Mrs. Herman (1882 - 22 MAY 1961)
At 2:00 o’clock yesterday afternoon final rites were conducted for Mrs. Herman Lutz, a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for more than 50 years. Services were held at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Claybaugh of the First Congregational Church, Owen, officiated with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Julius Johnson, Leon Bruchert, Harry Dempsey, Wilbur Hansen, Bert Cattanach and Orville Mengel.
Born in Germany, Mrs. Lutz first resided at Glenwood City previous to moving to Owen with her husband, the late Herman Lutz, more than 50 years ago.
For the past several months she had been in failing health and passed away at her home in the city early Monday morning at the age of 79 years.
She is survived by a son, Herman of Thorp and two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Martha) Meinhardt and Hazel, Owen.
