Leo Chapel and family drove to Lynn for the fireworks Friday evening.

 

Miss Pearl Broos and Leslie Todd took the train for Rice Lake Friday morning to spend the 4th with Del Lovell and family.

 

Raymond and Nellie Dorst came over Sunday to see the Atkin young people at Ernest Lee’s.

 

The Carl Berg home enjoyed a reunion Sunday, all the children being at home together.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Davis and children visited among relatives last week.

 

Noble Downer now rides abroad in a new Ford car, purchased of Knorr & Rausch.

 

Oscar Jahr bought a fine young horse of Gordon Davis.

 

Ed Dennis came up from Sycamore, Ill. to spend a few days with his parents, returning Saturday evening.

 

Clarence Salisbury and Florence Converse spent Sunday at Ed Coil’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Webb Winn, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dennis and Fred Dennis were Sunday guests at Lue Smith’s.

 

T.F. Lee and wife did shopping in Neillsville one day this week.

 

Miss Anna Gardner is assisting at Frank Rogers, to get ready for their moving to Washington.

 

Harold and Bessie Atkin came from Withee with their uncle John Wenzel to visit their aunt, Mrs. E. Lee.  Mr. Wenzel returned after a short visit, leaving the young folks to a longer stay.

 

Neal Downer and wife, with a  jolly bunch of young friends, autoed to Loyal for the 4th.
