Haying is the order of the day.

The 4^th of July is past and the boys are all happy in this vicinity.

The school meeting Monday evening drew a very small attendance. Mr. Melchior Hosely was selected director in place of John Krejci.

Mr. M. Hosely and daughter Amelia visited at the farm Monday.  As it is haying time now, Mr. Hosely mist be in the hayfield for exercise.

Mrs. John Eichenberger, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. D.H. Rhines and family, returned to her home at Plymouth Monday.

W.K. Graves and family and Mr. Perkins Cross spent the 4^th with D.H. Rhines and family.

Most of the young people of this vicinity spent the 4^th at Marshfield and had an enjoyable time, but they are glad that the 4^th comes only once a year.

H. Fradette purchased a corn binder from Neillsville dealers.

The way thing look around our corners we are without a baseball team and Sundays are very quiet.  Brace up Boys, play ball and we will all join in and boost.

Frank Potter has his new milk house almost complete.
