Oestreich, Rachel Ann (Marriage - 28 December 1963)
Rachel Ann Oestreich of Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Oestreich of Loyal, became the bride of Craig William Johnston of Loyal at ceremonies conducted Saturday in the Loyal Methodist Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Doering, who was assisted by the Rev. Ross Oestreich of the Trempealeau Methodist Church. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnston, of Loyal.
The bride approached the altar in an ivory fitted sheath wedding gown and carried an orchid corsage.
Miss Diane Oestreich of Loyal served as maid-of-honor. Bestman was Brian Johnston, also of Loyal.
Miss Julie Ann Vojart of Loyal played "Whither thou goest" on the church organ.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, and a supper was served for members of the immediate families at the Star Lodge Motel.
The bride is a 1960 graduate of Loyal High School. She has been employed in Marshfield. The groom, also a 1960 Loyal High School graduate, has been employed as a plumber in Marshfield.
