Zeff Sanford went to LaCrosse Tuesday for medical treatment.
Joseph Osgood has returned home from Waubasha, Minn.
Harry Mead attended the funeral of Peter LaFleur Tuesday.
Miss Edith Varney is expected home from Stevens Point this week.
Oscar Fricke of Neillsville drove up Tuesday to cast a vote in his home town.
Mrs. F.J. Klinke and Edward have been visiting at Arthur Barton’s this week.
Photographer Krause caught two good views of the city dam the day of the break-up.

Ole Bragstad and Odin Ystad are reported to have accompanied Rafael Hembre out west.
Rafael Hembre of Schilling Station will soon leave for the Pacific coast, possibly to locate there.
Robert Teatz and Theodore Breseman of Lynn were Saturday visitors at the home of H.H. Hartson.
Dr. Herman Schwarze has returned from Chicago, where he has been taking post graduate work.
The seventh and eighth grades were delightfully entertained at the home of Marion Hunt Friday evening.
Lute Meek has bought a farm in western North Dakota and is packing up his household goods for moving.
Mrs. E.F. Wollenberg and daughter went to Thorp Wednesday morning for a visit and will return the last of the week.
Mrs. S.R. Kelly has returned from Milwaukee where she underwent a successful operation for the benefit of her eye.
Hastings Baird set the pace for Main street walk repairs Monday. It is to be hoped that others will catch the idea.
Oscar Hogue who has been assistant foreman for the Medford Lumber Co. at Whittlesey visited his family here Thursday, returning Friday morning to start his crew to work on the drive.
Earl Tomkins, living about five miles south of town lost about 75 pounds of cream Sunday, through a runaway of his team near the creamery. Some injury is reported to the wagon.
At the "deestrict skule" Monday it developed that the most celebrated monuments of Greenwood are the high school, the jail, the band stand, Aug. Noetzel’s boat house, and Pete Stevens’ "Little Hell."
Peter La Fleur, whose death is reported by out Christie correspondent, was one of the old settlers of this county. Rev. W.T. Hendren of Greenwood conducted the funeral service.
For lack of time to devote to their offices, Mrs. Mason, R.K, and Mrs. Hoehne, F.K., of the Lady Maccabees have resigned and Mrs. Leda Shanks and Mrs. J.L. Barber chosen to fill their place.
