Cummings, Elizabeth Ann (Marriage - 4 January 1964)
The Blessed Sacrament Church in Madison was the scene Saturday, January 4, 1964, of an 11 o’clock ceremony uniting in marriage Elizabeth Ann Cummings and Bruce R. Harris.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. James Cummings of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Harris of Humbird.
For her wedding the bride chose a white sheath street-length gown, fashioned with bouffant overskirt and a beaded scoop neckline, with three-quarter length sleeves. A comb of small white roses held a blush veil. She carried a white orchid, surrounded with carnations and holly.
Kathy Cummings of Wichita, Kans., sister of the bride was the bride’s attendant. She was attired in a green brocade street length dress with a matching net headpiece, and carried an arrangement of white carnations and holly.
The groom was attended by Dave Allen of Stoughton. Guests were seated by Ray Cummings, brother of the bride, and Joan Jacobson.
A dinner and reception were held at the Cuba Club in Madison following the ceremony.
The newlyweds will make their home at 2121 E. Mifflin St., Madison.
The groom is employed in the state tax department, and the bride is employed in the motor vehicle department.
