John Shanks has bought the Otto Anderson residence.

Jesse Crane has been quite sick with the grippe the past week, but is improving.

The farm Lute Meek has bought is near Wibeaux, Mont.,instead of in North Dakota.

C.C. Hoehne was called to Reeseville Friday by the death of his mother, Mrs. Carl Hoehne.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oleson of the town of Beaver are rejoicing in the birth of a daughter.

The Klinke house vacated by Chris Kippenhan will be occupied by L. Pepser, electrical engineer.

Arthur Chamberlin and Robert Zetsche are home from the Oshkosh normal for a week’s vacation.

Wesley Snyder and Lloyd Weast left on Saturday for Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to grow up with the country.

Minor Cook has been changed from Minnesota to Watertown, S.Da., ad Geo. Frye is now in Everette, Wash.

Mr. Gene Mack, brother of Mrs. J. H. Fradette, and wife, of St. Paul, were guests at the Fradette home the latter part of last week.

A. Krause has been studying out a pleasing effect for its soda water fountain that will add greatly to the enjoyment of his fizz mixtures.

Mrs. J. Riplinger of Tioga was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Palms last week, Harry Palms returning with her for a vacation visit.

Hylie Pratt, who recently lost the end of his right index finger at the saw mill reports it healing nicely. He was attended by Dr. Schofield.

Herman Prellwitz of Stratford, Wis., visited with his brother, O.A. Prellwitz Thursday, also looking over the country with a view of settling here.

Dr. R.E. McIntyre reorts the railroad wreck at Withee Friday an unimportant one.

John Mack of Shell Lake, Wis., spent a few days last week visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.H. Fradette, and renewing old friendships generally. He reports the improvements here as noticeable.

Among those from away attending the club dance Friday were Henry Smith, Lee Covey and Elmer Etta of Loyal; and Albert Dunn, Frank White, Frank, Marry, and Annie Blecha, and Dolph McKenna of Twenty-Six Road.

Chris Kippenhan yesterday moved to Loyal, where a company has been formed to operate the old grist mill there. When asked who composed the company, he said he did not himself know, but believe local capital was behind it.

Dry wood for sale by Frick Rossman Co.

The Town of Warner Cheese Co. has started its second season of manufacture. This company of which Wm. Benjamin is president, A.F. Varney secretary, H. Schwarze treasurer, and Roy Landon cheese maker, finds a ready and good market for its product at Marshfield.
