Kluckhohn, Dolores M. (4 February 1922 - 16 December 2011)
Dolores M. Kluckhohn, 89, of Neillsville died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at Neillsville Memorial Home.
Dolores M. Kluckhohn was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Reddick, IL, to Lyle and Ruth (Bossert) Patchett. Dolores married Marion E. Kluckhohn July 31, 1939, in Reddick, IL. They farmed near Reddick until January of 1951 when they moved to a farm southwest of Neillsville, in the Town of Dewhurst, (on Co. Trunk J near Hatfield), where they lived for the past 60 years. Dolores worked in a defense plant while Marion was in the Navy serving in WWII. She also worked as a waitress and did cleaning jobs. In later years, she worked with her husband, Marion, laying carpet. She raised three children and two foster children.
Dolores is survived by one son, Jack (June) Kluckhohn, and two daughters, Carolyn (Tom) Zschernitz and Patricia (Manfred) Weisgerber, all of Neillsville; two foster sons, Patrick Ranney of Arizona and Gary (BettyAnn) Ranney of Washington; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; her parents; two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
