Bealer, William (24 December 1883 - 19 January 1964)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili for William Bealer, 80, of Rt. 1 Chili, who died Sunday in Neillsville. The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated. Burial was made in the Yolo Cemetery.
Mr. Bealer, a lifelong resident of the Town of Fremont, was born December 24, 1883, and attended Fremont rural schools. He was married August 8, 1911, to the former Lena Grobe in the Fremont Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mrs. Gust Benze of Wausau; four brothers, Herman of Campbell, Cal., August of Chili; Albert of Merrifield, Minn.; and Fred of Coeur d’Alene, Ida.
Six nephews served as pallbearers: they were, Larry, Leroy, Laverne, Edwin, Ronald and James Meissner.
