Jamros, Joseph (10 March 1924 - 16 January 1964)

 

Funeral services were held Monday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for Joseph Jamros, 39, who died here January 16.  The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated.  Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Mr. Jamros was born March 10, 1924, in Pittsville.  His parents were Michel and Josephine (Mika) Jamros.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

 

He is survived by his mother, who lives in Black River Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Ostrowski of Spaulding, Miss Jean Jamros of Chicago, Ill., and Sister Christine, St. John’s Convent, Earl Park, Ind.; and a brother, Roman Jamros of Falls Church, Va.

 

A general rosary service was said Sunday evening at the funeral home on 4th Street.

 

Pallbearers were Frank Dobes, B. J. Haas, Steve Rosandich, John Rassmus, Ray Ostovski and John R. Bergemann.

 

Those from away attending the funeral were: Roman Jamros of Falls Church, Va.; Miss Jean Jamros of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Suchor of Crystal Lake, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ostovski of McHenry, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Freedlund and family of Pittsville.
