The Rossman school closed Friday. Miss Welsh of Loyal has been teacher.

Ed. Hembre is making improvements on his land on the town line by clearing along the road.

Viola Pfunder closed a most successful term of school in the Christopherson district Friday. She has given splendid satisfaction.

Geo. Harlow had a logging bee Tuesday. If G. Phillips should take a peep at that place now he would not believe he had seen it before.

May 6

Wm. Rossow, Sr., drove to Loyal Tuesday.

Ole Bragstad has sold his team to Mr. Howard of Eaton for $350.

D. Danielson recently sold a horse to a party from Withee for $50.

Mrs. H. Hanson and Mrs. C. Youngberg called at Hembre’s Tuesday.

John Wisth and family have moved into the Clarence Larson house on Sheets’ corner.

Otto Luder came down from Ladysmith to help his mother do the seeding and spring work.

Aug. Gustafson is running a milk and cream wagon to Loyal until the skimming station starts.

The fixing up of the skimming station is being hurried as fast as possible. A new addition is being built. They expect to have it ready this week.

Frank Buttke was offered $400 and P. Christopherson $500 for their teams recently, but each refused. They think they can drive some high priced horses a while yet.
