Baehr, Calvin Vernon (24 June 1950 - 13 December 2011)

 

Calvin V. Baehr, age 61, of Withee, went to heaven on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at his home, after a very courageous battle with multiple Myeloma while under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.

 

Calvin Vernon Baehr was born on June 24, 1950, in Stanley, WI to Vernon and Anita (Petrulis) Baehr.  He received his education at area schools and graduated from Thorp High School in 1968. After graduation, Calvin worked as a pipe insulator apprentice with Heat & Frost Insulators Union Local 17 in Chicago, IL.

 

He is survived by: his loving wife, Cheryl M. Clough Baehr; his son, Kevin (Natalie) Baehr; two grandchildren: Madison and Perry Baehr; his parents, Vernon and Anita Baehr; five brothers and sisters: Linda Baehr, Peter Baehr, David (Gayle) Baehr, Audrey Baehr (Chuck Froelich), and Evelyn Baehr (Eric Pongrantz).  Calvin is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends at Heat & Frost Insulators Union Local 17 of Chicago, IL; and many, many other friends.

 

Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Celeste Baehr. 

 

A celebration of Calvin’s Life will be held at a later date.
