Mrs. Edna Lawrence and niece, Naomi returned home Friday on account of the sickness of her son Will.
Bert Dean was in this vicinity for a short visit, but was called back again by a telegram.
The Fourth was a success in every way. The program was fine, but the rag muffin parade was still better. A large crowd was present. People from Marshfield, Granton and other places came in autos to take in the amusements. At the close there was a ballgame between North and East York.
Wm. Campbell delivered veal calves to Loyal Monday.
Will VandeBerg delivered a cow to Neillsville Wednesday and brought another one back in its place.
Mrs. Mary Fulwiler returned home Saturday after an extended visit at Faribault, Minn.
Mrs. A. W. Hales and Miss Cannon were the guests of Mrs. Annie Campbell, Friday.
Jesse Mortimer was a Neillsville caller Friday. He came back with a new cultivator.
Harmon Huntley, Roy Lawrence, Orren Lawrence and Horace Lawrence went blueberrying to Spencer Sunday, but had poor luck on account of the rain.
George Mortimer brought home a new cultivator from Neillsville Monday.
Fay Livingston went to Neillsville Monday and got a big load of shingles for his new barn which he intends to build in the near future.
