Obit:  Wilk, Theodore

Theodore Wilk, who for the past several years since the death of his wife, has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Frederick Braun, was buried from Salem’s church in the settlement Sunday, death having resulted from dropsy with which he has suffered for the past year. Rev. J. Schmalz preached the funeral service. Mr. Wilk was born in Germany seventy-six years ago last October. In 1883 he came to this country, for three years living in Sheboygan county.  He then came to Clark county and owned the place now owned by Otto Geisler. He leaves to mourn his loss two sons and four daughters, as follows: Jos. Wilk, Farmville, Va., Theo. Wilk, somewhere in the west; Mrs Minnie Schomberg of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Caroline Warnke, and Mrs. Frederick Braun, both of the settlement, and Mrs. Chris Braun of Greenwood.
