Ladies Sewing society will meet with Mrs. Sam Smith Thursday, June 20.

 

Chas. and Alba Varney with their wives visited Jos. Flower’s near Loyal Sunday.

 

Ella Cramer and Eva Warner are doing the working at the Withee home at present.

 

A select party of young people spent Saturday night in dancing at the home of Anna Schwarz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duge drove to Neillsville Saturday for a visit with her parents, returning Monday.

 

Dr. Julian Baker has been a frequent caller at Steve Moore’s this past week, Mrs. Moore being quite sick.

 

Mrs. Fox and three youngest children are spending the week at Hixon, Jackson county visiting relatives.

 

Albert Shanks visited his father and sister here Sunday. He was accompanied by his children and Davie Shanks, Jr.

 

John Aikens went to Somerset one day last week to consult an eminent physician. He has been in poor health since about Christmas time.

 

Steve Arnold left Monday morning for a visit with his home folks at Adain, Iowa, and expects to go from there to Cal., where Cliff is employed.
