Dennis F. "Denny" Larson, 70, Denver, Colo., formerly of Unity, died on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Porter Hospice in Denver. Services and burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.

Dennis Fredrick Larson graduated from Colby High School in 1959. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Mellenthin) Larson; two daughters, Lori (Lonnie) Martin, Denver, and Linda (Scott) Chisholm, Highland Ranch, Colo.; two grandsons, Benjamin and Daniel Chisholm; two sisters, Karen (Perry) Arndt, Medford, and Janice (Joe) Crowson, Tuscan, Ariz.; a brother, Dan Zimmerman, Chandler, Ariz.; his mother-in-law, Eleanor Mellenthin, Spencer; a sister-in- law, Nancy (Ron) Dietsche, Spencer; a brother-in-law, Doug (Lou Ann) Mellenthin, Spencer; Packer, his faithful companion; and nieces and nephews.
