Perme, Mary (15 August 1881 - 23 February 1964)

 

Mrs. Joseph Perme, 82, of Willard, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she was admitted the day before.

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard.  The Rev. Wm. Nikolai officiated.  Burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.

 

Mary Koprievetz was born in Yugoslavia August 15, 1881.  She came to the United States in her early 20’s, settling in Ely, Minn.  In 1902, she was married to Joseph Perme in Ely.  After their marriage they resided in Duluth, Minn., and in 1916 came to Willard, where they operated a farm until 15 years ago. Then they retired and moved into Willard.

 

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

 

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Stebley of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. William (Molly) Prebil of Willard, and Mrs. Christine Kunkel, Milwaukee; three sons, Joseph C. of Sacramento, Calif., John P. of Willard, and Frank of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Movetz of Ely, Minn.; and a brother, John K. Koprievetz of Milwaukee.

Pallbearers were: Louis Landini, John Francel, Joe Tolaney, Alvin Kaltinger, John Horvat and Henry Janezich.

 

People from away who attended were: Joseph C. Perme of Sacramento, Calif.; Frank Perme of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Koprievetz, Sr., John Koprievetz, Jr., Mrs. Christine Kunkel, Mrs. Joseph Turk, and Mr. and  Mrs. Garth Prebil, all of Milwaukee, and relatives and friends from the Willard and Greenwood area.
