Jennifer Mergen and Austin Anderson were married September 24, 2011, at the Church of Saint Anne in Wausau, with Fr. Steve Brice officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Sharon Mergen of Dorchester. The groom is the son of Clarene and Jim Evenson, Lincoln, MT and Brad and Vickie Anderson, Butte, MT.
Music was provided by Sheila Rossmiller, pianist, David Daniels, vocalist and Anna Luetmer, violinist.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Shannon Mergen, Wausau, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Mergen, sister-in-law of the bride, Wausau, and Jessica Anderson, friend of the bride, St. Paul, MN.
Dustin Brown, Butte, MT. friend of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Regan, Butte, MT, friend of the groom, and Leonard Thurmond, Robinson, TX, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Bryan Mergen, Wausau, brother of the bride, and Brad Anderson, Jr., Johnson City, TN, brother of the groom.
The reception was held at The Rothschild Pavilion in Rothschild.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Colby High School, and a 2006 graduate of UW-River Falls, where she received her bachelor of science in business administration.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Butte Central High School, Butte, MT. He received his bachelor of science in occupational safety and health from Montana Tech in 2008 and a masters of science in industrial hygiene from Montana Tech in 2009. He is a loss prevention consultant for Liberty Northwest Insurance.
The newlyweds will honeymoon in Maui and reside in Post Falls, Idaho.
