Art Raminger Barn Burns
Fire, of undetermined origin, destroyed the barn at the Arthur Raminger farm northwest of here Sunday night.
The loss included the barn, about 54 X 80 feet in size, with stone basement, 37 head of livestock, five pigs, grain, hay and machinery. Two horses were saved.
Percy Maxim, a neighbor, discovered the blaze about 11 o’clock. The Dorchester fire department went out and worked until 8 o’clock the next morning and succeeded in saving all the other farm buildings.
