A son, Ian Dexter, was born to Dr. Gregory Rachu and Dr. Zobeida Diaz, Providence RI, on December 2, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
Ian weighed 7 pounds, 4 ¾ ounces and measured 19.5 inches at birth.
Grandparents are Ray and Sharon Rachu, Colby; and Roberto and Laura Diaz, Fort Wayne, IN.
