Lauralee Annita Syring of Stratford and Lee David Kunze of Abbotsford were united in marriage on August 19, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Parish in Stratford. Fr. Eric Berns of Stratford presided.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Audrey Syring, Stratford. The groom is the son of Richard and Joyce Thieme, Medford, and David and Juleen Kunze, Stratford.

The bride wore a modern traditional gown in duchess satin with crystal beading, creating the appliqué at the side of the draped bodice. The full skirt strapless A-line gown features soft pleasets with a corset tie back onto the chapel train. The veil was waist-length with crystal beading. The bouquet was red roses with white orchids.

Flower girl was Cheyenne Stirdivant, Sheboygan, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Benjamin Hanson, West Salem, cousin of the bride.

Matron of honor was Amanda Bennett, Beloit, cousin of the bride. Maid of honor was Tammy Folz, Stratford, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Hanson, West Salem, cousin of the bride; Heather Drazkowski, Oconomowoc, sister of the bride; Amber Henning, Coloma, stepsister of the groom; and April Sparbel, Stratford, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Chadd Kunze, Dorchester, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Troy Smith, Mosinee, step brother of the groom; Lance Syring, Stratford, brother of the bride; Adam Drazkowski, Oconomowoc, brother-in-law of the groom; Jeremiah Syring, Weston, cousin of the bride; and Dave Telschow, Edgar, friend of the couple.

Usheres were Corey Theurer, Austin, TX, cousin of the bride, Jason Syring, Edgar, cousin of the bride, and Matt Henning, Coloma, brother-in-law of the groom.

Music during the ceremony was provided by soloist Amy Hanson and pianist Nancy Losinski, Wausau.

A reception was held at The Country Aire in Stratford. The couple honeymooned indoor County.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Stratford High School and a 2006 graduate of NTC’s marketing business to business program. She is employed as a COBRA administrator at UMR, Wausau. 

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Colby High School and a 2001 graduate of UTI in Glendale Heights, IL auto diesel and industrial program. He is currently as a diesel mechanic at Roehl Transport.

The couple resides in Abbotsford.
