Voge, Edward H. (July 13, 1924 - December 20, 2011)

Edward H. Voge, 87, Abbotsford, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Continental Manor-Golden LivingCenter, Abbotsford.

Ed was born July 13, 1924, in the town of Mayville. He was the son of Adolph (Ed) and Grace (Miller) Voge.

Ed attended Abbotsford Public Schools and was a graduate of Abbotsford High School. He then enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1947.

Ed and the former Dorothy Rucks were married in 1947 in Colby. They then moved to Owen where they were employed. He drove truck for Foremost in Owen until 1968, then worked at Clark County Health Care Center until his retirement.

Ed is survived by his wife, Dorothy Voge, Abbotsford; two children, Dorothy M. Voge, and Randy (Pam) Voge,; two sister, Irene (Vince) Frane and Marion (Bob) Wibben; and one brother Donald (Shirley) Voge.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

At his request, no serviced will be held. The Maurina-Schilling funeral Home, Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Private burial will take place at a later date in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
