Neut Turner is giving the schoolhouse in Dist. No. 1 a new coat of paint, which adds greatly to its appearance.

 

Sid Free and Emil Schoenfeldt made a trip to Granton Saturday evening.

 

Miss Elsie Rogers of Hannibal is visiting at the John Palmer home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. B. Judd of Pierce Co. are visiting relatives here.

 

B. Wehe has improved his resident by building a new chimney.

 

Walter Bros. are building a basement for Pete Anderegg’s new barn.

 

Ted O’Brien is building a fine resident on the farm which he recently purchased from A. Vande Berg.

 

Miss Rosa Kronberger returned to Greenwood Tuesday after a two weeks visit with her parents.
