Ogorzalek, Joseph Frank (5 February 1957 - 24 December 2011)
Joseph F. Ogorzalek, age 54, of Lublin, died at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011, at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel, in Thorp. Burial will follow in East Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Russ Ogorzalek, Duane Nagel, Roger Ogorzalek, Brian Alex, Jacob Eichelt, and Palmer Anderson. Visitation will be held at Thorp Funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Joseph Frank Ogorzalek was born on February 5, 1957, in Marshfield, WI, to John V. and Ellen I. (Taylor) Ogorzalek. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at the Lublin Elementary School and graduated from Gilman High School in 1976. Joe was united in marriage to Debra Nagel on November 26, 1977, at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. Joe worked for many years at the Cardinal Corporation in Stanley, later the IKE Corporation. For the past 10 years Joe has worked for ADM in Stanley.
He had many interests, but in his spare time, Joe especially enjoyed deer hunting, working on cars and raising beef cattle.
He is survived by: his wife, Debra, of Lublin; five children: Lori (Palmer) Anderson of Withee, Craig of Lublin, Lacey Delasky of Lublin, Angie Ogorzalek (Fiancé Keith Yeager) of Owen, and Ryan of Lublin; and seven grandchildren. He is further survived by his father, John, of Lublin; four siblings: Roger of Lublin, Jean Ogorzalek of Chicago, Russell (Mary) of Medford and David of Lublin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen l. Ogorzalek, and one son, Jonathon Ogorzalek, in infancy.
