Scharf, Mrs. Herman (? - 5 April 1964)
Funeral services were conducted April 8 from Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant for Mrs. Herman Scharf, 78, who died April 5 in Neillsville. The Rev. Evan Dieck officiated, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Henry Helm, Leo Kurth, Glenn Hines, Ernest Ott, John Gluch and Francis Haines.
The congregation sang two hymns, accompanied at the organ by Gary Thiede.
People from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Scheeler, John and Grace Whalen, and Dick Scheeler of Cazenovia; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scharf and family of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Louis B. Korth of Loyal; Louis W. Duge of Fairchild; and many friends and relatives from the Neillsville, Granton and Chili area.
