Franks, Christopher D. #2 (17 NOV 1977 - 2 OCT 1993)

Greenwood--Christopher David Franks, 15, Willard, died Saturday  at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic mChurch, Greenwood, with Rev. Steven Bauers officiating.  Pallbearers will be David, Chuck and Butch Jensen, Cindy Harding, Julie Mundahl and Amy Charpentier.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7:30.

He was born Nov. 17, 1977, in St. Louis Park, Minn., to David and Susan (Garner) Franks.  He attended Schools in Casson, Minn., and Caledonia, Minn.

He moved to the Greenwood-Willard area July 15.  He became ill Aug. 1 and entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Aug. 10.  He was transferred to Children's Hospital Aug. 17, where he was awaiting a heart transplant.

He is survived by his parents of Willard; one brother, Nicholas, at home; his grandparents, J. F. Garner of Elmor, Minn., and Rita Franks of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
