Erickson, Luann (1 JUL 1953 - 2 OCT 1993)

 

Neillsville--Luann Erickson, 40, Neillsville, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran church, Neillsville, with the Reverend James Gardon officiating.  Music will be provided by Chris Herbrand organist and the church choir.

 

Burial will be in the town of Grant Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Matthew Daniels, Melvin Nemitz, Jeffrey Ratsch, Dale Reinart, Dick Vine, Randy Meyer and Dennis Erickson.

 

Visitation will be at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, from 6-9 tonight and then at the church one hour prior to service time Tuesday.

 

 

The former Luann Bragg was born July 1, 1953, in Annapolis, Md., to David and Luella (Ratsch) Bragg.  She moved as a small child with her parents to Neillsville and received her education at Kurth School and Neillsville Public Schools.  She graduated from Eau Claire Technical School in 1972 with a degree in secretarial science.  She was married to Ernest Erickson May 6, 1972.

 

     She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was active in the Women's Circle of the church.  She was a charter member of the Homemaker's of Today Cub, Neillsville, and served as Happy Hollow 4-H club leader for the past 10 years.  She was also active in the church quilting group.

 

She is survived by her husband; her parents of Neillsville; one son, Dale, of Neillsville; two brothers, Steven Daniels of Neillsville and Larry Daniels of Wheaton, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Evan (Susan) Erickson of Eau Claire and Mrs. David (Cheryl) Stedman of Fort Atkinson; three nieces; and three nephews.

 

Memorials will be established at a future date.
