Smrecek, Mary Ann (Marriage - 18 April 1964)

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard by Miss Mary Ann Smrecek of Marshfield, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Smrecek of Willard, and Michael Allen Huettl of Marshfield, son of Albert Huettl of Marshfield.

Daniel Smrecek gave his sister in marriage. She approached the altar in a long, white bell-shaped dress of acetate peau-de-soie re-embroidered Alencon lace motive across the front and back. The modified Sabrina neckline was lace-trimmed.  The Basque bodice was accented with long sleeves; the very full skirt was high-lighted with a fitted back panel and a large peau-de-soie bow. Her bouffant veil of imported nylon illusion cascaded from an open pearl crown. She carried a bridal bouquet of a large red rose surrounded by rose buds and white stephanotis.

Serving as matron-of-honor was Mrs. Ralph Smrecek of Willard. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Kenneth Huettl of Marshfield.  Both attendants were attired in ice blue sheath dresses, styled with overskirts. They carried baskets of blue and white carnations and pink rosebuds.

Ralph Smrecek of Willard was bestman. Kenneth Huettl of Marshfield was groomsman; ushers were John Smrecek and Russell Rueden.

Events consisted of a dinner and reception in the church hall, ending with a dance in the evening.

The bride is a 1959 graduate of Greenwood High School and has been employed in a beauty shop in Marshfield.  Mr. Huettl graduated in 1954 from Stratford High School.  He is employed in a manufacturing plant in Marshfield.

On their return from a wedding trip to the western states they will reside at 810 E. 4th St. Marshfield.
