Boushon, Charles "Charlie" (6 July 1943 - 30 December 2011) With Flag
Charles "Charlie" Boushon, 68, of Chili died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, with his family by his side.
Charlie was born July 6, 1943, in Chili, the son of Henry and Freida (Rossberg) Boushon. He proudly served his country during Vietnam and was awarded four Bronze service Stars. After his discharge he returned home to work as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Trieweiler Construction Company. In his retirement, Charles worked for the Super Wash in Marshfield.
Charlie was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. He was also a member of the Operator’s Engineers Local Union 139, as well as a life member of the American Legion Post #54 in Marshfield. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and time spent with family, especially his great-great nephew, Christopher. He took special pride in reuniting with his combat brothers.
He is lovingly survived by his siblings, Edward Boushon of Chili, Elsie (Duane) Jakobi of Chili, Louis Boushon of Marshfield and Louis Hamer of Spencer. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield assisted the family with arrangements.
