Red Hat Ladies (2011 Donations - 2012)
The local chapter of the Red Hats organization the Purple Passion Patooties (PPP) always enjoys their monthly get-togethers. They savor a good meal at a local establishment, laugh a lot, adore one another’s red hats and purple garb, learn something new and try to help others who are less fortunate.
During 2011 members donated $300 to the Clark County Outreach, $300 to the Bolton House, $200 to the Angel Tree project and $100 to the Special Olympics. These monetary donations were in addition to member donations to the Red Cross, Food Pantry and the Clark County Humane Society.
Whenever members are asked to contribute to a cause at an upcoming meeting, dollars and items are donated in generous amounts. The PPP is a group of great Red Hatters.
