It is fine weather for oats harvest.
Pickle picking is the order of the day.
Remember the big show and dance to be given by the Granton Brass Band Saturday, Aug. 9th at the town hall.
Mrs. F.J. Baer and Mrs. Frank Ferguson of Granton were down in the ormer’s auto last Friday and took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Bender.
The bridge committee was in this section Aug. 4th looking after business.
The cheese factory is doing a flourishing business.
Miss Hattie Sparks can be seen behind the counter at the new store.
Dan Messing and wife of Progress were in town trading last Tuesday.
Pete Peterson went to Granton Monday on business.
Come to the big show Sat. night. Refreshments will be served at the new store.
