Foemmel’s Corners (21 July 1911)
Loren Hales began work for Truman Davis Monday.
Mr. Balkin of Sheboygan stopped off between trains last Saturday for a visit at Al Nonhof’s.
Geo. Campbell’s team became frightened at the hay rack to which they were hitched. They escaped without injury or injuring Mr. Campbell, but the wagon, was badly wrecked.
Mr. Fradette began taking milk to our factory this week. That’s what we like to see. If there is any one else that would like to bring milk just come right along.
Mr. Henry Moore and daughter of Omaha, Neb., are here visiting his niece, Mrs. Al Nonhof and other relatives.
Mrs. Wm. Anthony and three children came Monday and spent several days between the Truman Davis, Hayden and Breese homes.
Chas. Campbell Sr. is assisting his son Ray with his haying on the farm which he recently purchased.
Mrs. A. W. Hales and son Harry went after blueberries Tuesday but only got 10 quarts on account of the rain.
John Krause and family Sundayed at the G. Krause home.
Mrs. Geo. Hales is able to be out again after several weeks’ illness.
Truman Davis and family took in the ball game at Granton Sunday.
Miss Lillie Ackerman is home again after a several months stay at Appleton.
Mrs. Ed Ackerman is somewhat under the weather this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lammers and son Aaron spent Friday evening at Truman Davis’.
Miss Clara Krause came home Tuesday fro a vacation from her school where she taught in Indiana.
Geo, Harry and Guy Hale went blueberrying Wednesday.
