Our boys were trimmed up by the Marshfield "Tigers" last Sunday by the score of 3 and 8. Some think it was Granton’s poor playing that caused the disaster, but we say it was dog gone hard luck and would recommend that the size of the ball be increased considerably. To make matters still worse the Marshfield pitcher had the faculty of putting some of our good players out of business. Kearney Davis was struck on the head, Chester Finnegan nearly had his back broken and George King had the stiffness taken out of his left leg. Next Sunday we will see another good game between Nasonville and Granton on the home diamond.
