Foemmel’s Corners (4 August 1911)

 

Miss Ruth Pietenpol returned Sunday from the hospital and is able to walk a little.

 

Mrs. Smiley and son visited at Geo. Frei’s the first of the week.

 

Mrs. Chas Hayden and her sister Mrs. Breese spent last week with Mrs. Sam Martin near Chili.

 

Lucile Davis returned last week Thursday from her stay with Mrs. Martin.

 

Mrs. Louis Hayden and children were guests at the Truman Davis home last week Friday.

 

Gene Osgood came Monday to cut g rain on the King farm.

 

Truman Davis and family Sundayed at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Breese

 

Jake Schafer was seen on our streets one day this week.

 

Joe Lastofka has just had a new cement silo built.

 

Joe Frei is helping Truman Davis this week.

 

Price Lee is having the sitting room of his house re-plastered.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lammers took in the ball game at Granton Sunday.

 

Mrs. Agin and Mrs. Daughhetee called on Mrs. John Pietenpol Tuesday.

 

The Mesdames Al Nonhof and Truman Davis called on Mrs. Lammers one day this week.

 

Marjorie Pietenpol stayed over night with Lucile Davis, Tuesday.
