Boxrucker, Anton #2 (17 MAY 1886 - 16 NOV 1961)
Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, for Anton Boxrucker. Father H.L. Crubel read the requiem mass with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were William and James Hennlich, Rodger Gilbertson, DuWayne and Dale Peissig and Ronald Decker.
Mr. Boxrucker passed away at his home in the city of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) Thursday, Nov. 16, 1961, succumbing to a heart attack at the age of 75.
Mr. Boxrucker was born May 17, 1886, in the town of Medford. He was educated there and married the former Ella Wolff, Dec, 29, 1902. The couple lived north of Curtiss until five years ago, when they retired and moved to Owen. Mr. Boxrucker was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Albert and Walter, both of Owen; five daughters, Mrs. Martha Peissig, Owen; Mrs. Selma Gilbertson, Taylor; Mrs. Marie Decker, Oakwood; Mrs. Joe (Hattie) Hennlich, Dorchester, and Alice, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Simmerson, Milwaukee; and four brothers, Jake of Stetsonville; Job, Abbotsford; Joe, Colby, and Casper, Athens.
