Clifford Glenn Daines was 54 years, 9 months and 25 days of age, being born Feb. 13, 1907, at Colby, Wis.  Here he received his education, being graduated from the public school system.  He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post at Colby.  For the past 15 years he made his home in Owen, gaining a host of friends with his congenial easygoing personality.  During this tenure he served as a driver for Western-Foremost Dairies.
