Clark, Michael T. (1 DEC 1950 - 6 JAN 2012)

Michael T. Clark, 61 of Colby, died peacefully at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, Friday morning Jan. 6, 2012. 

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan . 11, 2012 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Colby with Father Dan Hackel officiating. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery with son-in-laws serving as pallbearers. 

A time of visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the Church. 

Michael was born Dec. 1, 1950 in Madison, the son of John and Rose (Paulda) Clark. He attended Elm Lawn Elementary in Middleton and Middleton High School.

He was united in marriage to Pamela Firnstahl on Oct. 24, 1970 in Colby. They divorced Aug. 23, 1989.

After his education Michael worked as a chef at Hoffman House Restaurant in Wausau until 1977, then working for 29 supermarket on Stewart Ave in Wausau, later at Edgar Basket and Reigel Plumbing and Heating in Marshfield for three years. Also at Marawood Construction in Marshfield from 1988 to 1989 and was a custodian for Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Colby from 1989 to 1997. 

In 1997 he began to drive truck for D& G Trucking in Colby until March 2005 when he drove truck for Decorator Industries in Abbotsford until March 2011. 

Michael met his sweetheart Sharwin Gosse in 1996. 

In his spare time Mike enjoyed property cleanup for local businesses, early morning coffee at area cafes and he also had a love for animals, bird watching and yard work. 

He is lovingly survived by his sweetheart; Sharwin Gosse of Colby, daughters; Stephanie (Randy) Lewandowski of Wausau, Stacy (Darrin) Hoernke of Colby, Jacqueline (Sam) Hayes of Colby and Jessica (Josh) Bracewell of Wausau. Grandchildren; Brendan Lewandowski, Steven Lewandowski, Molly Lewandowski, Tyler Hoernke, Jake Hoernke, Sierra Hayes, Samantha Hayes, Tucker Hayes, Gavin Bracewell, Garrett Bracewell, and Gage Bracewell. Brothers and sisters; Mary Brown of Madison, Charlene Piper of Madison and Jim Clark of California.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughters, Madisyn Bracewell and Jack Hayes.
