McGovern, Colleen J. (17 JUL 1964 - 9 JAN 2012)

Colleen Joy McGovern, 47, of Willard, died on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date. 

Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield is serving the family.

Colleen was born on July 17, 1964, the daughter of John and Kathryn McGovern in Chicago, Ill. 

After graduating from high school, she moved to Texas where she became a licensed real estate agent. Colleen loved coming back to Wisconsin and spending time at her family's cabin in Rock Dam. She met her fiancé, Dennis, during these trips. Colleen knew how to have fun and had a big heart.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy (John) McGovern-Fitzpatrick, Lake Barrington, Ill.; and two brothers, Shawn (Adria) McGovern, Island Lake, Ill., and Jim (Cynthia) McGovern, Round Lake Beach, Ill. She is further survived by her aunt, Joyce Young, Buffalo Grove, Ill.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Kathryn; and her uncles.
