Heathville (11 August 1911)
Magdalene Carpenter is spending a few days under the parental roof.
It is said that Sam Martin will go west in a few days to take in the threshing.
Poger John (Geo Drake) is under-brushing for A. Rueth.
Nathan Drake still has the Washington fever but holds his own quite well this summer.
Ike Rogers is building a cellar wall under the Charley Balke residence.
George Brooks transacted business in Heathville Sunday. Wonder if there were any hot slings in sight.
Mr. Louis Zorn of Brillion and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Morgon of School Hill are visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. E. and Frank Zorn.
Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis started for Tioga this morning (Wed.) in search of blackberries. They expected to stay at least a week. Sherman has provided himself with a cow bell in case he gets lost.
