The ladies aid at the Woodmen Hall last Wednesday was quite well attended. Proceeds were $2.50.
Wm. Lawrence papered the kitchen for Mrs. Maggie Parrett on Thursday.
August Macksam hauled a load of cheese for York Center cheese factory Thursday.
E.G. Rowe cut grain for Pease’s Wednesday and Thursday.
Bell Mortimer did not go to Marshfield last week as was stated in the items.
Nelson Timerson and family autoed down from Spokeville and spent Sunday at Dan Timersons’.
Mr. Dejmek, Roy Lawrence and Abram Vande Berg helped Earl Lawrence shock grain one day last week.
Richard Free finished laying the wall for the addition to the schoolhouse last week.
Mrs. Sarah Lindsley went to Loyal Wednesday for a week’s visit between friends there and at Greenwood.
Wm. Benedict has been on the sick list since last week with a sore throat and the grippe.
Wm. Vande Berg’s team took a sneak on him Thursday while he was unloading bridge material in front of Mr. Anthony’s. Forest Rowe caught them in front of their place.
Mr. Alton, wife and daughters Fern and Ethel returned Tuesday from their visit at Ladysmith, Chetek and other places.
Mable Turner and ye scribe took in the sights at Granton on Thursday.
Anna Timerson and daughter Edith spent Monday at Mrs. Timerson’s parents.
John Vande Berg, wife and daughters Ida and Ruth, and Ed Voigt autoed over and spent Sunday afternoon at Martin Dankemyer’s.
Ray Mortimer spent Sunday evening at E.G. Rowe’s.
Mrs. Kate Fink of Fargo, N.D. is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Mary Fulwiler.
A.P. Fulwiler delivered a load of hogs to Neillsville Monday.
