Ferd Richter of Granton and the Krause family of Nasonville spent Sunday at Mrs. H. Fischer’s.
Gus Lindow is having his barn painted. Arthur and Edwin Happe are doing the work.
The Equity shipped a car of sheep and cattle Tuesday.
The young man that called at the bank Friday overdrew $1411. He didn’t leave his address or even a trace that the blood hound could follow.
John Henning had a belly ache Tuesday from eating green apples.
Dick Mundt or better known as veterinary Mundt, who has a worldwide holds reputation for raising hogs, now holds the world’s record for the largest litter, numbering 16, all of which are full blooded pigs, half Poland China and half Chester white. When six months old, these pigs will weigh 300 lbs. each, at 9 cents a pound. Someone figure this out and see if there is any money in hogs.
District No. 3 unloaded a car f brick Friday. E. Neinas hauled the biggest load. He had two loads in fact. The last trip were not all brick however. The sand was hauled Saturday. The schoolhouse will be bricked as soon as brick layers can be gotten.
