Dan Timerson has purchased a new work harness of Holcomb.
Quite a few from this vicinity took in the Gollmar Brothers Circus Friday.
Sylvester Pease and John VandeBerg delivered veal calves to Loyal Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Nonhof were seen on our streets Sunday evening enjoying a fine ride.
Communion services wee held in the M. E. Church Sunday afternoon by Rev. F. M. Haight. A fine sermon was delivered.
Wm. VandeBerg has been busy the past week cementing H. Olson’s barn.
Mrs. Glen and Jesse Rowe came Monday morning for a visit with relatives in this vicinity.
Miss Jean Davis gave a party Friday evening at her home in honor of Miss Myrtle McHenry of Milwaukee and Miss Alva McGorn of Green Bay. All present repot a fine time.
Some young folks seem to have a big attraction at the camp meeting, especially Reinhold Voigt as he seems to attend quite regular and make frequent calls to that white house on Grand Avenue.
R. E. Lawrence and family and Harmon Huntley and family were guests at the Geo. Huntley home Sunday.
Mrs. F. Ferris and children attended services at the M. E. Church Sunday afternoon.
The camp meeting held by Wm. Rogers in the Hoesly woods across from John Palmer’s is a success in every way. Mr. Rogers is an excellent speaker and large crowds have been out nearly every night to hear him. He would like to have everybody present next Sunday evening as he wishes to deliver a special sermon.
Jim McKenzie and wife were the guests of Allie Turner and wife Sunday.
Three cheers for Foemmel’s Corners’ correspondent. We are glad someone had sand enough to speak up against such items as East Lynn and Heathville have been sending in to be published.
Mrs. Humiston left Tuesday morning for her home at Lake Mills after an extended visit with friends and relatives in this vicinity. Mrs. Susie Benedict did not go back with her as she intended, for some reason.
We had another nice shower of rain Monday.
Farmers are busy getting ready to thresh.
