McErn, Frank (6 JUL 1874 - 6 FEB 1962)
Frank James McErn was born July 6, 1874 at Compton, Ill., one of seven children born to Simon and Cynthia McErn.
There he grew up and engaged in farming. On Dec. 12, 1895 he was united in marriage to Mae Miller and to this union was born one son, Floyd.
Later he moved to Wisconsin and farmed here since 1919.
He had been in ill health since October and departed this life Feb. 6, 1962, at the age of 87 years and 7 months, at the Stanley hospital. Services were held from Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home Saturday, Feb. 10, with Rev. Stone officiating. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Siguard Sorenson, Donald Hawks, Bert Cardinal, Harry Baehr, Chris Barke and Lionel Thibert.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his son Floyd of Tomah, one granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Scinto, and two great-grandsons, Daniel and Thomas Scinto of Bridgeport, Conn., also one sister, Mrs. George Wolter of Compton, Ill.
