Marian Smith spent several days last week with Otillie Wiesner.

 

Fernando Johnson is building a granary and from the looks o fhis grain field, it ought to be a big one.

 

Sunday evening guests of Mrs. Amelia Converse were Mr. and Mrs. Richter and children, Clay Converse and Misses Hattie Schultz, Marian and Frances Smith and Natalie Wilber.

 

Miss Lizzie Quinnell is a guest of Pearl Brooks this week.

 

Miss Beatrice Pietenpol spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Miss Maude Smith.

 

Lue Smith has carpenters and masons at work this week.  Meisner brothers are doing the mason work and Gustave Henry the carpenter work.

 

Oscar Jahr and family autoed to Loyal Sunday to spend the day with relatives.

 

Mrs. Dale Lee is still under the doctor’s care.  Miss Florence Converse is doing her house work for a few days.

 

Chas. Brooks laid the heavy timbers for his big barn Friday.

 

Master Linton Jahr is spending the week at grandpa Wilke’s.

 

We are too busy baking flap jacks this week to scout for news, so kindly excuse.

 

Mrs. Wm. Free of Neillsville is visiting Mrs. C.E. Brooks since yesterday.
