Kilbourne, Elizabeth (02 AUG 1874-16 NOV 1957)

 

Mrs. Elizabeth Kilbourne, 83, a resident of Loyal for many years, died in an Owen hospital at 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. Her death was caused by old age complications.

 

Elizabeth Christman Kilbourne was born at Woodland Aug. 2, 1874. She lived with her parents, Balthazar and Caroline Christman at Hewitt and Marshfield and when a young woman came with them to Loyal. This remained her home for the rest of her life. She was married to Harry Kilbourne in Nov. 1893.

 

She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and funeral services were held there at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Norbert King officiated at the services.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Clara) Voight of Williston, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Emerson, Wis. Rapids, and Mrs. Anna Scott, Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Tony Christman of Loyal and Peter Christman of Spencer; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Preceding her in death were her husband, three children, two sisters and two brothers.

 

Pallbearers were Richard Andreska, Joe Voight, Milwaukee; Milton Knack and Alan Meyer.

 

Those from out of town who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Voight, Williston, Fla.; Mrs. Joe Brunke and children Barbara and Richard, Milwaukee; Mrs. Kate Emerson, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pantsar, Wis. Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Voight and family, Milwaukee; and Alan Meyer, Marshfield.
