Bredlau, Fred (08 JUNE 1872-20 NOV 1957)

 

Fred W. Bredlau, retired Spencer farmer, died at 3:15 Wednesday afternoon at his home at the age of 85. He had lived in the area since he was four years old. He was born June 8, 1872 in Germany. He married Mrs. Alma (Shult) Schade here May 15, 1925.

 

Survivors are the widow; one son, David Bredlau, Marshfield; four stepsons, Adelhardt Schade, Marathon, Waldemar Schade, Wausau, and Herman Schade, Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. John Trachte, Columbus; and two brothers, Emil Bredlau of Spencer and John Bredlau of Loyal. One daughter Adeline preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. W. R. Krueger officiating. Burial was made in the Veefkind cemetery.
