Foemmel’s Corners (8 September 1911)
Mrs. Martin and granddaughter came Friday from Antigo for a visit at the A. J. Lammers home. Mrs. Martin is a sister of Grandma Ogle and they hadn’t met in years.
Miss Vivian Clark spent Friday afternoon with Lucile Davis.
Mrs. Chas Hayden received her carpet loom and is weaving some rugs for Mrs. A. J. Knorr.
Chas Greeler began hauling milk to our factory Sept. 1st.
Mr. Henry Nonhof was a Sunday guest at the A. J. Lammers home.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis left Mon. morning on the 3:50 train for Minneapolis where they will take in the fair.
Mr. and Mrs. John Breese came Sunday to look after the Truman Davis household during their absence.
Loren Hales and Amelia Krause took in the theatre at Neillsville one evening during the fair.
Al Nonhof cut corn for Will Foemmel Saturday with his new corn binder.
Joe Frei worked for Truman Davis again this week.
School began Monday with Miss Morris of Neillsville as teacher.
Geo. Wonser of Milwaukee spent several days with his cousin Mrs. Nonhof.
